Mike Poepperling, Youth & Family

Mike is our new youth deacon!  He is full of life, fun and energy and has a heart to serve the youth and families in our congregation! 

Tony Colle, Worship

Tony and his wife Janie were married in 1976 and have two children. He has lived in the Hutchinson area since 1951. Tony became a member here at Eastwood in March, 1977. He has been a Deacon since 1982.

Brad Krone- Security

Brad says this is the one deaconship he wishes we didn’t have to have, but he’s accepts his responsibility with fervor.  He ensures our children are safe, doors are locked, and is moving us forward to make sure the church building is medically equipped.

Paul Taliaferro- Finance Deacon

Paul Taliaferro is an excellent deacon over finance ensuring the funds collected are going to the right place and we are being good stewards of the blessings God provides.

Bill Hackler, Education

Bill and his wife Shirley were married in 1974 and have three children. Bill has lived in Hutchinson since 1974. He was a member at Walnut and Campbell for 35 years before coming to Eastwood in 2009. He was the Deacon of Visitation at Walnut and Campbell . He has served as the Deacon of Education here at Eastwood since the spring of 2012.

Ray McChristian, Benevolence

Ray and his wife Wilma have been married since 1972 and have two children. Ray has been attending Eastwood since 2005 and has been a Deacon here since the spring of 2012.

Peter Fabian, Great Agers

Peter and his wife Angela are excited to take over this ministry for our great agers!  They have lots of life and creativity and will be planning a lot of fun activities and spiritual development for those in their golden years at Eastwood!

Mike Nowlan, Education

Mike and his wife Mary were married in 1973 and have three children. Mike has lived in Hutchinson since 1971 and has been a member at Eastwood since 2008. Prior to that, Mike attended Walnut and Campbell Church of Christ and was a Deacon there. Since coming to Eastwood, Mike has been in charge of education and has been the Deacon of Education since the spring of 2012.

Aaron Walton- ImpAct Pavilion 

Aaron and his family take exquisite care of our new ImpAct Pavilion and park.  He is making sure that it is rented out to the right people, keeps it looking nice, and ready to go for the next event!  He is an excellent leader of his family and you'll often see several of his children helping out to keep the pavilion and park area looking clean and maintained!

Gerald Vinson, Outreach

Gerald and his wife Susan were married in 1976 and have two children. He has lived in Hutchinson since 1970 and has been a member at Eastwood since that time. He became a Deacon in 1986.

JJ Porter- Children's ministry

It is almost impossible to find a picture of JJ without his growing family.  He is a family man and loves leading our children during children's worship.  He is passionate about the Lord and is always at worship or Bible class, unless there's an unexpected calf birthing or he's on the combine for another 20 hour day out in the field!  

Mike Wyatt, Worship

Mike and his wife Jamie were married in 2003 and have three children. He moved to Hutchinson in 2009 and has been a member at Eastwood since October of that year. Mike has served as a Deacon since May, 2012.
