Singing - Christians are instructed by Scripture to, "Let the word of Christ dwell in us richly as we teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and to sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude in our hearts to God". Not only is God praised, but each worshiper is mutually encouraged (Colossians 3:16-17, Ephesians 5:19-20).
Teaching - Our teaching is taken only from God's Holy Word, and is designed to instruct and encourage in the ways of righteousness. It is our endeavor to preach the good news of Jesus Christ.
Prayer - We communicate with God through prayer. The prayers are designed to give God glory, to thank God for his blessings, and to request his continued care over us.
Communion - The Lord's Supper follows the Scripture's portrayal of communion on the night our Lord was betrayed. The Bread represents Christ's Body and the Fruit of the Vine represents His Blood. The Bread and the Fruit of the Vine are observed each 1st day of the Week (Acts 20:7) A description of the Lord's Supper is also found in 1 Corinthians 11:23-36.
Contribution - The contribution is collected at the Sunday worship service. Each person gives of his means as he has prospered and purposed in his heart (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).
Children's Ministry - On Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, we offer children's classes that teach biblical concepts and practical life application for Christian living.
During our Sunday morning worship service, we offer Children's Bible Hour for youngsters ages four through fifth grade. This special time for our children gives them the opportunity to learn about God and the Bible in an age-appropriate way. It also gives the parents some quiet time for worship.
We also offer a fully staffed Nursery for newborns and babies during Sunday and Wednesday services.
